Orange Circle Blurb 001-RIP DEAR BIRD

Sat at a bench during lunch with sandwich in hand watching a group of preschoolers enjoy their afternoon. One of the teachers decided to let a child sit on the edge of the fountain with feet in water. I bet it felt good with the sun beaming so heavily today. I know the men were cleaning the fountain at the moment but... hasn't your mother ever told you not to touch water such as that? Yes I adore the fountain, it is the best spot at Down Towne Orange... but I just wouldn't do that if I were you.

Earlier that morning, about 7ish... I was waiting and watching the clock to strike 7:30 to start work. I then see this motorcycle kinda do a weird stop and this lady is rushing off it and I think , that sucks you dropped something, holding up traffic and all. Well then I hear crows cawing and flying crazy above. The motorcycle helmet lady appears cupping a crow in her hand. Its little legs were fluttering, I think one broken. I don't know if she ran it over or not but it was hurt. She sat at a bench for some time and then finally went to put it down beside a flower bush. Then I guess she felt bad leaving it there...with all those other crows cawing, maybe they'd eat it alive? So she walks over to the fountain, dips it in for about 3-5 minutes. By this time I turned my head, I couldn't watch. The motorcyclist walks by the trash can and places her gently in it. Then drives away.

I bet there will be better stories I will tell.
Honestly I don't know if it was a woman or man. Bless his/her heart.

Happy Happy Fathers Day!

If you scroll a ways down to the past entry, I started my dad's web site. I wanted to try something a little different so I used the water bottle cap. I am way more fond of the traditional bottle cap but for a mini change, why not?
Now these are magnets. Sorry no photo of the bottom of them right now. I am giving these to him for Father's Day, today. He will be so happy so he can pass them out to friends and whoever so they can see his website.

TOP 5 REASONS I LOVE MY DAD.
  1. He is a spiritual warrior
  2. He is very handy/creative
  3. He is consistent
  4. A great example
  5. He is an awesome chef!
Happy Fathers Day to all your Dads and all you dads.

Anniversary Custom

This is a special custom for Ariel in Arizona. She wanted to get her boyfriend(my cousin) a design inspired by tattoo artist, Ed Hardy and peace signs. I had no idea who Ed was till I designed this (sorry Ed!). I think it turned out pretty awesome! He gets the Big O'charm & she gets the Big O'ring. So cute!

This is truly a "Circles Are Forever" moment.

Gifts In Secret, Elizabeth Bradley

{my all time fave pic, i want to do this pose one day when i have long hair!}

I always am drawn to "I don't want you to go" when I click on Beth's musical myspace page. I got the honor of painting the Anchor Big O'ring for her a few weeks ago. She chose it because her mother loves anchors. I really want her picture with it and as soon as I get it I will surely add it on this post. She is this beautiful long haired beauty, you can't miss her if you passed her on myspace. I love her sweet innocence in her songs & photos. I so--- want to grow my hair out like that. Oh boy yeah right like that's going to happen!
